Fixed screens, motorised floor-rising screens, centre speakers, AV receivers and subwoofers all need to work together.

Stop redesigning the same AV problem for every home.

Buying an Ultra Short Throw projector is only one part of the installation.

Project after project, the same questions return: where should the projector sit, where should the screen go, where does the centre speaker fit, where does the AVR live, how is the subwoofer incorporated, and how should power and cabling be arranged?

Instead of solving those relationships from scratch for every installation, HAP developed a standardised UST projector console that starts with the AV system first.

01
Projector geometry

Projector and screen positions need to be coordinated together.

02
Audio equipment

Centre speaker, AVR and subwoofer should form part of the cabinet plan.

03
Interior integration

The technology should feel like part of the living room rather than equipment added afterwards.

Choose how you want
your cinema to appear.

Same AV-led thinking.
Different screen experience.

01 UST Projector Position

Designed around the Epson EH-LS970B instead of treating projector placement as an afterthought.

02 Centre Speaker Compartment

Gives the front soundstage a dedicated place within the console layout.

03 AV Receiver Allowance

Space and power planning for the AVR forms part of the system design.

04 Subwoofer Integration

Space allowance is incorporated behind the mesh-fabric cabinet area.

05 Accent + Under-Console Lighting

Integrated LED details allow the console to remain part of the room design even when the cinema is off.

Designed around the Epson EH-LS970B.

Ultra Short Throw projection is sensitive to projector and screen positioning. The console therefore starts with a defined projector platform rather than trying to accommodate every possible UST projector.

By planning around the Epson Lifestudio Grand Plus EH-LS970B, the projector position can be coordinated with the intended screen configuration from the beginning of the project.

A large picture deserves proper cinema sound.

Build beyond projector audio with a dedicated centre speaker, surround channels, AVR and subwoofer.

01

Centre Speaker

Planned into the front console so dialogue remains anchored to the screen.

02

AV Receiver

The system can be built around a suitable AVR for surround processing and amplification.

03

Subwoofer

The console includes space allowance within a mesh-fabric cabinet section.

04

Surround Speakers

Combine the system with suitable surround speakers, including Bowers & Wilkins 600 or 700 Series.

The cinema system should belong in the room.

Choose a finish that allows the console to either disappear quietly into the interior or become part of the room's visual composition.

Images are for visual reference only. Actual colours, finishes and textures may vary slightly due to material characteristics, lighting and screen settings.

Simpler for homeowners.
Clearer for designers.

For Homeowners

Start with a defined AV solution instead of working out projector, screen and cabinet requirements independently. Choose the screen format, finish and cinema system, then coordinate the final room plan with HAP.

For Interior Designers & Renovation Professionals

Use the console as an AV planning reference early in the renovation process. Screen position, projector placement and equipment zones can be considered before cabinetry, electrical and cable routes are finalised.

From room plan to finished cinema.

01

Share the Room

Discuss the room layout, viewing position and intended renovation plan.

02

Choose the Console

Select 100MFRS for floor-rising or 120FS for a fixed-screen system.

03

Plan the AV System

Coordinate projector, audio, AVR, subwoofer, power and cable routes.

04

Coordinate the Interior

Align the AV requirements with the final room, cabinetry and interior design.

Planning an Ultra Short Throw projector cabinet.

What is an Ultra Short Throw projector cabinet?
It is a console planned around the placement requirements of a UST projector close to the screen, while also considering the related home cinema equipment. HAP's console is designed around the Epson EH-LS970B and includes planning for the screen, AVR, centre speaker, subwoofer and cabling.
Do I need a special cabinet for a UST projector?
A normal TV cabinet may provide storage, but the projector position still has to work with the exact screen size and placement. A purpose-planned UST console makes projector positioning part of the overall installation.
What cabinet works with the Epson EH-LS970B?
The HAP All-in-One UST Projector Console is designed around the Epson Lifestudio Grand Plus EH-LS970B. Choose between the 100MFRS and 120FS configuration according to the intended screen format.
What is the difference between 100MFRS and 120FS?
Console 100MFRS is designed for a 100-inch motorised floor-rising screen. Console 120FS is designed for a 120-inch fixed projection screen.
Can I use a centre speaker with a UST projector?
Yes. The HAP console incorporates a dedicated area for the centre speaker so it can be considered as part of the front cinema layout.
Can an AV receiver be installed in the console?
The console includes space and power allowance for an AV receiver. The final equipment choice should be coordinated with HAP so access, connections and system requirements can be considered.
Can a subwoofer be incorporated into the console?
The design includes space allowance for a subwoofer within a mesh-fabric cabinet section. The final subwoofer selection should be checked against the confirmed console specification.
Should I choose a floor-rising or fixed screen?
A floor-rising screen can disappear when the cinema is not being used, while a fixed screen remains part of the front wall. The right choice depends on how you want the living room and cinema system to work together.
Can I combine the console with Bowers & Wilkins speakers?
Yes. The system can be configured with Bowers & Wilkins 600 Series or 700 Series speakers, suitable centre speakers and subwoofers, together with an appropriate AV receiver. Other suitable speaker systems can also be considered.
When should the UST console be planned during renovation?
Ideally before cabinetry, electrical points and cable routes are finalised. Early coordination gives the homeowner, interior designer and AV team time to align the screen, projector and equipment plan.

A simpler way to plan a serious big-screen living-room cinema.
