Why choose Chord ClearwayX over basic speaker wire?

A considered cable choice, included with your system rather than left as an afterthought.

Chord Company ClearwayX uses 14 AWG (2.08 mm²) oxygen-free copper conductors, XLPE insulation, a twisted-pair layout and dual foil shielding. Those are documented construction differences compared with thin, basic unshielded speaker wire.

The 14 AWG (2.08 mm²) size helps keep resistance low compared with much thinner wire, especially on longer runs.

Twisted and shielded design

Its twisted conductors and foil shielding are designed to reduce the pickup of electrical interference.

The 606 S3 + Marantz MODEL M1 bundle includes the Chord cable, so customers need not choose their initial speaker wire separately.

Will it always sound better?

Not necessarily. A correctly sized, good-quality ordinary copper cable can perform just as well in many short runs. ClearwayX's benefit is its specified construction—not a guarantee of dramatic audible improvement.

What is included in the Bowers & Wilkins 606 S3 and Marantz MODEL M1 bundle?

Which speaker colours can I choose?

HAP lists the 606 S3 bundle in Black, White and Oak. You choose the speaker finish on the product page; the Marantz MODEL M1 remains the same amplifier.

Are Bowers & Wilkins speaker stands included in the bundle price?

No. Select the regular Black, White or Oak bundle without stands, or choose a “+Stand” variant. The current listing shows an additional S$370 for the stand option. Check the updated GST-inclusive total in the shop.

Is onsite installation included?

Is Chord ClearwayX speaker cable included?

Yes. The HAP 606 S3 + MODEL M1 bundle includes Chord Company Clearway speaker cable; ClearwayX is the version shown in the package presentation. Check the exact supplied version, cable length and terminations with HAP.

Is Chord ClearwayX better than ordinary speaker cable?

ClearwayX has 14 AWG oxygen-free copper conductors, XLPE insulation, a twisted-pair arrangement and dual foil shielding. These are useful design specifications, but a correctly sized ordinary copper cable may also perform very well over short runs; a dramatic audible improvement is not guaranteed. Do Bowers & Wilkins 606 S3 speakers need an amplifier?

Yes. They are passive bookshelf speakers that require an amplifier. The included Marantz MODEL M1 provides amplification and music streaming.

Can I play music and connect my TV using the MODEL M1?

Yes. Marantz MODEL M1 supports HEOS network streaming and HDMI eARC for compatible televisions. Check your TV connections and the streaming services available in Singapore.

Are bookshelf speakers suitable for Singapore living rooms?
