The Marine 6 is a two-way loudspeaker with a 1" tweeter and a 6" polypropylene bass/midrange driver. It boasts an IP66 rating for incredible ruggedness when installed and is the more compact of the Marine Series loudspeakers, which fits into a depth of 3.5" with a cut-out of 7.8".

The IP66 rating means that this speaker is capable of surviving the extremes of temperature, salt spray, and hosing down that occurs in a marine environment. The metal grille and fixings are marine-grade stainless steel. The driver chassis uses a non-corroding rigid polymer, and the tweeter dome has a rear support to prevent permanent deformation when hosed down.
