Smart Home Specialist | Low Voltage Technician (Smart Home / Network / CCTV)
We install and commission smart home systems for discerning residential and commercial clients across Singapore. As a Smart Home Specialist, you will be the backbone of every project — from cable termination to programming automation scenes — ensuring every job is delivered to a high standard. If you take pride in clean installs, methodical troubleshooting, and showing clients a system that just works, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, install, and terminate structured network cabling (Cat6/Cat6A) to professional standards
- Configure and deploy Wi-Fi infrastructure (access points, managed switches) across residential and landed properties
- Assemble and dress network racks, patch panels, and smart home control cabinets
- Install, program, and commission smart home automation systems (lighting control, motorised blinds, security, AV)
- Set up and integrate smart intercoms, IP cameras, CCTV, and access control devices
- Install multi-room audio and home theatre systems including speaker placement and cabling
- Conduct site surveys, read electrical/network drawings, and liaise with IDs, contractors, and electricians
- Provide post-installation support and on-site troubleshooting for commissioned systems
- Drive to job sites island-wide; manage tools and vehicle tidiness
Requirements
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence
- Able to communicate fluently in English (written and spoken)
- Hands-on experience in network/structured cabling, Wi-Fi setup, or smart home installation
- Solid understanding of IP networking, VLANs, and Wi-Fi fundamentals
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Physical fitness for on-site work (ladder use, cable routing, cabinet assembly)
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude at client premises
- Experience with smart home platforms (Control4, KNX, or similar)
- Familiarity with Ubiquiti UniFi, TP-Link Omada, or equivalent managed network gear
- ITE/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related field
- Experience on landed residential or commercial fit-out projects
- Competence in AV installation and basic home theatre calibration
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (useful for client communication)
