Performance

CINEMA 60 SERIES 2 combines decades of Marantz audio engineering with the latest generation of home cinema technology.

Seven discrete power amplifier channels deliver 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 20 Hz–20 kHz, 0.08% THD, with two channels driven, providing the power and control required for dynamic movie soundtracks while retaining the detailed and musical presentation associated with Marantz.

Immersive Cinema

Dolby Atmos allows compatible soundtracks to extend above and around the listening position when used with a suitable speaker configuration, such as a 5.1.2-channel home cinema system with dedicated height or in-ceiling speakers.

CINEMA 60 SERIES 2 also supports Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization, which can create a greater sense of height and spaciousness in compatible systems without dedicated height speakers.

For DTS content, support includes DTS:X, DTS Neural:X and DTS Virtual:X. DTS Neural:X can expand compatible conventional soundtracks across a multi-speaker system, while DTS Virtual:X provides virtualized immersive effects without requiring dedicated height speakers.
