🔧 How to Factory Reset a Control4 Wireless/Wired Switch

If you're troubleshooting a Control4 wireless/wired switch or preparing it for a new installation, performing a factory reset can help clear old configurations and restore it to its original state. Follow the steps below to reset your switch properly.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Guide

✅ Step 1: Perform the Reset Sequence

On the Control4 wireless/wired switch, press the following button combination:

Top button – 13 times

Bottom button – 4 times

Top button – 13 times again

⚠️ Important: You must press the buttons quickly and consistently. Delays between presses can cause the reset sequence to fail.

If done correctly, the switch will recognize the input and begin the reset process.

✅ Step 2: Observe the LED Feedback

After entering the sequence:

• The switch will reboot automatically.
• Once rebooted, the LED backlight will turn green.
