How to Configure the Public PIN Code

Step 1:

Set the module DIP switch. Make sure the first switch is flipped up.

Step 2:

Register this unit as the first module sub.

Step 3:

Test the PIN code.

• If the correct code is entered, you will hear the standard tone.

• If the wrong code is entered, the device will beep to indicate an error.

Step 4:

Enter the system settings:

• Go into Settings

• Go to the Settings tab

• Open Configuration

• Enter the admin password: Control4

Step 5:

Go to Device Management (third button on the right).

Select Main Door Station (D Series).

Step 6:

Tap Settings, then open Public Password.

Step 7:

Under Public Password, you will see several password options that can be set.

Step 8:

Enter the new PIN code twice to confirm.

Step 9:

Return to the Home Page.
